I’m a photographer who combines an eye for beauty with a heart for humanity.

I am successful if I can make a single mom happy with a nice family photo and take that mom into my studio and bring out the parts of herself that she represses in front of her family through a distinctly female lens.

When I’m working, my focus is on the story that the subject has to tell. It’s that raw, behind-the-scenes side of the subject that stands out to me and compels me to do what I love.

Pulling out those emotions in the moment, I view my work as equal parts photojournalistic and poetic.
